Rev. Alex Iniguez was born in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico, in 1978. His parents seeking a better life moved to San Bernardino, California, when he was 4 months old. In 2008, at the age of 30, he received Jesus Christ as his Savior after his father-in-law, Robert Santini, shared his testimony of how Jesus Christ changed his life forever. Four years later, in a small church in Shafter, California, while attending a Christian program called "Teen Challenge" he surrendered his life to Christ and knew in that moment that all he wanted to do for the rest of his life was to serve God and do God's will in his life. He was called to ministry after the Lord delivered him from a life of addiction. He is currently married to Violet and they have four children, (Ernesto, Lizeth, Zyara, and Ezra) and three grandchildren (Kyro, Leyla and Lyelyn). He is an ordained minister of the Church of the Nazarene and the senior pastor of the El Centro Church of the Nazarene, California. He has a bachelor's degree in counseling and a Master’s Degree in Christian Ministry from Point Loma Nazarene University. He is an International Certified Drug and Alcohol Counselor and has worked in various rehabilitation centers helping people with addictions. His vision is to make Christ-like disciples by sharing his testimony and shepherding God's people and offering them the opportunity to come out of darkness into the light through the gospel.

“I am excited for the opportunity to serve the Lord here in the Imperial Valley and so happy to be a part of this loving church. God is still making miracles and he is still changing lives”
